Paige
I feel I've lived a hundred different lives within the space of 25 years. My passions include Shakespeare (the man himself and his poetry), Star Wars (hence my son's obsession), cooking and baking (there is a difference!), reading (oh, so much reading...), singing at the very top of my lungs, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I try and stay patient as I learn how to balance mammahood, work, love, and life in general.
Lee
Lee Whitney was born at a very young age in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived in Utah all his life, serving an LDS mission for two years in Lima, Peru. For college, he decided to break family (Aggie) tradition and attend BYU in Provo, UT. After a few years of dating the lovely women of Happy Valley, he found true love in a hopeless place- Instagram. You can read more about that story here. Once winning the heart of a single mamma, he took on the role of 'insta-dad' and our lives have never been the same. When he isn't polishing his parenting skills or pursuing his PhD, Lee enjoys drawing, listening to audiobooks, and playing Minecraft with Rafe.
Rafe Henry
Rafe Henry entered this world on September 23rd, 2011, and life just hasn't been the same since. He enjoys all things Zelda, Minecraft, bey blades, legos, Harry Potter, Don't ask Rafe to eat anything other than oatmeal, Nutrigrain bars, bananas, strawberries, chicken nuggets, spaghetti, pizza, and all things chocolate. He just won't. You can however ask him to watch Harry Potter with you - he would be more than happy to oblige. There is never a silent nor dull moment with Rafe Henry- if it is silent, run and check family room- he's probably trying to sneak in more screen time.
Gray Arthur
Grayson Arthur graced us with his presence on May 20th, 2017. After a rough week in the NICU, we were able to bring him home & life has been joyful ever since. His infectious smile, laugh, and constant loves provides a very special bind to our blended family. He eats anything and everything in sight (aka hide the dog food), loves books, bey blades, and did I mention eating everything in sight? He is the happiest little cherub, unless he is teething. Then it's a different story.
So very touching and moving! I've been through similar footsteps. Thank you for your example. Everything always eventually works out #becauseofHim.
